October 2008

October has come and gone and we are now in the middle of November - YIKES!! Let's see... some highlights would include Tucker getting a big boy bed, loving it and sleeping in it every night and at nap time sense. Blaine and I celebrated our 10th Anniversary - hard to believe yet true - we are still very happy and that's nice. We got to spend an afternoon with Jack & Jenny Shull at a Dallas Cowboys football game. That was wonderful and we hope to see them again really soon. Tucker grew 2 inches in, what seemed to be a little over a month. He is now 38" tall and went through a couple of Saturday's sleeping until 2pm or 3pm then going to bed at 8:30ish that night. It was wierd but he obviously needed it.

I've had some amazing conversations with my family in Bend, OR. I miss them so much and hope to get to see them really soon. Blaine is still doing the school thing and freaking out about having to write papers and go to the library - it's quiet amuzing!! He took a weeks vacation and painted a lot of the inside of our home. It looks really good and even feels better. Our landscaping is holding up, although we have yet to put mulch down - maybe this weekend.

Work is going good for both of us and we do enjoy working at SMU and it's been good for our family. I dressed up as a scarecrow for halloween along with only one other at my office but that was ok - it was fun. Tucker couldn't decide what he wanted to be so he wore his fireman yellow boots and his race car driver shirt. He was a Nascar EMS driver?? LOL We didn't even make it out for candy gathering - Tucker was more interested in playdoh that night so that's what we did.

We are looking forward to Thanksgiving in our home. Just the thought of so many family members gathered around - well we are just so very thankful for all of them!! We hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday and enjoy the pictures below.
